used to play in tournaments. very fond of this as its like LeXpert in my pocket. now, all I need are some PDFs of the sevens...

This app although handy is not close to an official scrabble dictionary legal words like Jo and vav amongst others are conceded illegal not good.

Not entirely sure what Realdec is on about. The wordlists have all passed my testing so far. Jo and vav are NOT conceded (considered?) illegal by the app except when using the ODS. Understandably, those words (like, say, cat and dog) arent legal plays...IN FRENCH. Sometimes an app is not only it just what youre looking for, but you know as soon as you start using it that the developer has probably been dreaming about forever. This is one of those apps.

I dont know if its for words with friends but the dictionary is SO HELPFUL!

This app has everything serious Scrabble and Clabbers players need. The searches are the fastest available, and its great to be able to click on a word to learn its definition. In response to another reviewer, you can use the "." character as a single character wildcard in searches, and the "@" character for string wildcards. The app is solidly made and bug-free, and the user-interface is well-designed. Its amazing that the author gives the app away for free; Id easily pay a couple of bucks for a useful tool like this.

I love this app - well designed, useful and free! The developers did a nice job of having a clean, well designed interface that is easy to use and it has so many features. I also love that iy is a universal app for iPad and iPhone.

I love this app when Im playing scrabble against the computer and get stuck. The in-app dictionary and wikipedia lookup is very cool as well.

Perfect for anyone who plays scrabble.

This app is more for the high level expert than the recreational user.

When a serious scrabble player asks me which apps to put on their phone, this is the first I recommend.

Very useful app. But, after iOS5 update on iPad2, I am having an issue with the Wiktionary lookup results window. The font size is maxed out and there is no way to adjust. You have to pan around the window to read the definition. Looking forward to your next update.

-choose Pattern -use @ at the end of initial letters -sort Alphabetically has fast task switching support. wasted a few bucks on apps before finding this. love it. havent tried it on my iPad...

Lightning fast results as you type. Want to know the 8 letter bingoes for a rack? Anagrams can include a . or ? for wild card and the matching letters are colored. Very slick and obviously designed for use for both learning and competition.

I love this app and use it when playing Lexulous. Please change the definition button to link to the internal dictionary in iOS 5 instead. Thanks!

Awesome app. Wouldnt play a word game without it.

But- so hard to see it, its hard to tell - is there a way to change to black on white?

The game timer alone is worth downloading this app, and the word features are just fantastic. Simple, easy to use.

The word Building and clock make it the app worth it, by themselves. A powerful tool for the Scrabble player. Highly recommended.
